Wondering what you will need for baby-to-be? Well, I’ve got you covered!

As a first-time mommy-to-be who knew nothing about babies, I was confused and overwhelmed. It seemed like there were so many decisions I had to make even before the baby came along. I spent the majority of my pregnancy scouring online checklists, researching baby products and asking friends and relatives for advice. Eventually, I managed to cut through all the noise, and created my own newborn shopping list, but it took longer than I had bargained.

I’ve refined and simplified that original list, and presented it here, for you! I’m confident that it will save you lots of time, and set you up for success.

Caring for a newborn typically involves a repetitive cycle of feeding, sleeping, and diapering with a bit of play thrown in. So, this list is conveniently structured based on what newborns actually do; “EAT, SLEEP, POOP, REPEAT”. I’ve also split it up into the essentials (these are the items that were so important in those early days) and a few optional extras (things I had on hand, but didn’t use very much).
